FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology. Echocardiography (EchoCG) is carried out with evaluation of parameters of right chambers of heart and at indicators: TAPSE 0.9–1.7 cm, RV FAC < 35%, RV EF < 45%, levosimendan 12.5 mg is intravenously infused at rate of 0.05–0.2 mcg/kg/min for 24–36 hours in the intensive care unit under continuous monitoring of systemic hemodynamics parameters; control echocardiography is performed 72 hours after the end of levosimendan infusion with assessment of functional parameters of right chambers of heart and with positive dynamics of TAPSE values; RV EF and FACFDK perform implantation of a left ventricular assist device.
EFFECT: method enables to prepare a patient with terminal heart failure for the left ventricular hemodynamic support mechanical device implantation, provides improved contractility of the right ventricle and thereby reduces the risk of a life-threatening complication, that is right ventricular failure.
