FIELD: microwave equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering and can be used to generate a highly stable sequence of correlated pulses. In the feedback circuit, after the adjustable attenuator, a band-pass filter is installed, which is tuned to allocate a frequency band ΔF=NΔf, where Δf is distance between adjacent modes in spectrum of generated sequence of pulses, and to the output of the main arm of the directional coupler by means of a matching waveguide line a resonator unit consisting of N high-Q cavity resonators is connected, wherein the frequency of each i-th cavity resonator f0i is tuned to the frequency of the corresponding mode fi from the spectrum of the generated pulse sequence ΔF, the unloaded Q-factor of each i-th cavity resonator Qi exceeds the unloaded Q-factor of the generator circuit without the resonator unit Q0, and the phase shift between the output of the TWT and the specific i-th cavity resonator is selected from the phase balance condition φi=miπ, where mi=1, 2, ….
EFFECT: generation of a stabilized sequence of correlated pulses of nanosecond and subnanosecond duration in the microwave range.
