FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oncology, particularly to radiotherapy, and concerns methods of radiosensitization of tumour cells, which can be used for combined therapy within the framework of an integrated approach to treating tumours. Method for radiosensitization of tumour cells involves exposure of tumour cells to an aqueous solution of ascorbatephenanthrolinate complex of europium with general formula EuAscNO3Phen⋅4H2O concentration of 0.03-0.12 mmol/l for 60 minutes at 37 °C with subsequent exposure to X-ray radiation in total absorbed dose of 3 Gy.
EFFECT: method provides wider range of methods for radiosensitization of tumour cells.
