FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and can be used to treating pancreatic cancer with certain ATR inhibitors to a patient in combination with other types of antitumor therapy such as gemcitabine therapy, radiation therapy or gemcitabine and radiation therapy together. A method for increasing the sensitivity of pancreatic cancer cells to chemoradiotherapy, the use of an ATR inhibitor in the manufacture of a medicament for the pancreatic cancer treatment and for enhancing the sensitivity of pancreatic cells to chemoradiotherapy are also provided.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides treatment for pancreatic cancer in a patient by administering to the patient ATR inhibitor (VE-822) in combination with other types of antitumor therapy.
