FIELD: household appliances.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for wet cleaning, in particular to vacuum cleaners for wet cleaning. Device (10) for wet cleaning comprises dirt inlet (11), motor (14) and fan (16) for suction in dirt inlet. Separator unit (18) separates water from air flow created by suction. Device additionally contains container (19) for collection of separated water. Container has top part (19A) and bottom part (19B). In the container there is air channel (22) for passage of air separated from water in the direction of the motor and fan. Air channel is spatially separated from the lower part of the container. Inner wall (19E) extends from the bottom towards the top of the container. Space (25) is formed between the container and the inner wall, and water collected in the lower part of the container can enter said space, when the container is oriented so that the collected water moves from the lower part to the upper part of the container. Inner wall is configured to prevent ingress of water entering the space into the air channel.

EFFECT: protection of engine against damage at ingress of water into air channel when device for wet cleaning is inclined for cleaning under furniture.
