FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: robotic agricultural platform is a self-contained mobile base intended for navigation on landscapes found in agricultural conditions. Self-contained mobile base is equipped with a main frame, a body, a caterpillar propulsor, two electric motors, reduction gears, one for each caterpillar, a structurally combined idler, a support roller, a tensioner and a caterpillar damper, providing a simple design, and has quick-detachable mechanisms, which allow to install frames to perform tasks without limiting design and height of agrotechnical clearance. Due to the location of the electric motor in the dimensions of the caterpillar propulsor closer to the geometric centre of gravity, the platform stability is provided, as well as the effect on the main frame design is excluded due to the absence of mechanical power transfer from the main frame to the caterpillar propulsor. Self-contained mobile base is equipped with an electronics unit containing lithium batteries, a charger, motor drivers and a set of sensors, and uses artificial intelligence algorithms to provide course stability based on normalized current and accumulated values of linear and angular acceleration sensors, magnetic sensor, GPS/GLONASS, tachometer, video/photo camera.
EFFECT: energy-efficient all-purpose robotic platform of increased cross-country capacity, intended for automation of wide range of agricultural tasks with possibility of efficient aggregation with other mounted/trailed agricultural machines.
