FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additive technologies, and more specifically to three-dimensional printing of objects from a digital model by layer-by-layer application of molten polymer material. Disclosed is a method for spatial support of objects in a three-dimensional printing process, in which the supporting elements are not part of the printed object, are not made from printing material, are additional mechanically movable structural elements providing support for overhanging elements of the printed object directly during the printing process in such a way that the support does not interfere with the movement of the working unit of the additive installation, wherein the change in the geometry of the supporting elements is carried out by overlapping or folding, wherein said geometry can be changed by mechanical coupling with existing kinematic elements of equipment by using separate drive mechanisms in a mixed manner.
EFFECT: invention ensures minimization of mechanical stresses and prevention of deformation of uncured polymer during three-dimensional printing of overhanging structures.
