FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of woodworking wastes processing, namely to the charcoal stabilization method and device for its implementation. In the stabilization method, charcoal obtained by continuous flow pyrolysis is fed into a pipe of a charcoal stabilization device. In this device, coal, moving along the conveyor in a continuous flow, is subjected to cooling and stabilization in the medium of nitrogen continuously supplied inside the device. Charcoal is cooled and stabilized for one or two hours at nitrogen consumption per one kilogram of product from 0.06 to 0.08 m3/h.
EFFECT: providing an efficient method and device for in-line stabilization of reactivity of wood briquettes.
