FIELD: woodworking waste processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for producing solid charcoal from sawdust. The method involves pyrolysis of a briquette formed from biomass of plant origin previously prepared for moisture content, with a uniform supply of the heating medium carried out for two hours in a conveyor-type pyrolysis oven, divided into an input temperature zone, ensuring heating of the briquette from 120 to 200°C, preparation zone for the exothermic process of charcoal with briquette heating from 200 to 280°C, zone for maintaining an exothermic process with briquette heating from 280 to 450°C, tempering zone with briquette cooling from 450 to 300°C and a briquette stabilization zone with its cooling for two hours in an inert gas environment to ambient temperature. Moreover, before placing the briquette in the pyrolysis oven, it is heated to a temperature of 190-200°C to avoid sudden temperature changes and cracking of the briquette when entering the inlet temperature zone.
EFFECT: possibility of accelerated production of wood briquettes with high consumer qualities, namely high strength and energy properties, by pyrolysis.
