FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a method for producing male sterile F1-hybrids of bulb onions (Allium sulphur) with group resistance to downy mildew, fungus Peronospora destructor, and tolerance to rosacea root rot, fungus Phoma terrestris.
EFFECT: invention can be used in selection programs for creation of F1-hybrids of bulb onions with group resistance to diseases due to accelerated creation of resistant and tolerant lines with effective selection by results of phenotyping and genotyping.
