FIELD: biotechnology; veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for determining oxygen-independent bactericidal activity of neutrophilic granulocytes in sensitization with brucellae, involving staging a reaction for determining the number of cationic proteins of neutrophils using a flat-bottomed plate for enzyme immunoassay, recording the reaction results by a photometric method at wavelength of 540 nm, determining a stimulation coefficient (SC), wherein the reaction activator used is an ultrasonic lysate of Brucella abortus 19 at concentration of 50 mcg/ml of protein in the end product; if the SC value is from 1.06 and more, the presence of specific sensitization of neutrophil granulocytes to brucella is determined.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and reliability of assessing oxygen-independent bactericidal activity of neurophils in animals sensitized by brucella.
