FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and is intended for washing fuel tanks of vehicles. Method of washing fuel tanks of vehicles consists in the fact that performing preliminary washing of fuel tank by means of intensive action on fuel with ultrasonic vibrations by emitter of washing head and cleaning of contaminated fuel through multi-stage cleaning filter, washing the fuel tank is carried out without dismantling the fuel tank from the vehicle by supplying a pressure washing liquid through a flexible hose with a washing head to the fuel tank, circulation of washing liquid in fuel tank with intensification of washing process by ultrasonic oscillations generated by emitter on flexible hose with washing head.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of flushing fuel tanks of vehicles without disassembly and assembly work to remove fuel tanks.
