SUBSTANCE: excitation waveform determining device (100) for determining the excitation waveform, which is the temporal waveform of the excitation signal, which is supplied to the stator winding of the motor, wherein the device for determining the shape of the excitation wave has a unit for establishing a possible solution, a unit for analysing the electromagnetic field and a unit for determining the shape of the excitation wave. Possible solution establishment unit includes an initial possible solution establishment unit, which establishes an initial group of possible solutions based on the state of the main wave, which sets the main wave of the excitation waveform, and a harmonic superposition state, which sets the harmonic to be superimposed on the fundamental wave, a possible solution updating unit, which establishes a new group of possible solutions from the group of possible solutions entered into it. Device (100) for determining the excitation waveform sets an initial group (IS) of possible solutions and a new group (US) of possible solutions as one or more of the possible groups of the excitation waveform based on the harmonic superposition state (HC); analyses the electromagnetic field to calculate the corresponding electromagnetic forces generated in stator (320) when it instructs possible solutions included in one or more of the established groups of possible solutions by the excitation waveform to flow through the motor (M); determines the excitation waveform based on the result of the analysis of the electromagnetic field.

EFFECT: determining the time shape of the excitation signal capable of effectively suppressing motor vibration.
