FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for prediction of the disease outcome in coronavirus infection caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus. Blood plasma is analysed for content of platelet-derived microparticles CD41+ by flow cytometry. If the content in plasma is not more than 3.3% of these particles, a favourable outcome of the disease is predicted. If the content in the plasma is more than 3.3 % of these particles, an unfavourable course and outcome of the disease are predicted.

EFFECT: method enables predicting the outcome of the disease in coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus by determining the CD41+ microparticles content in the blood plasma.
