FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and concerns a method for predicting outcomes of COVID-19. Blood is taken and the following levels are determined by flow cytofluorimetry: reaction of blast transformation of lymphocytes (RBTL), marker of natural killers (CD16+) and percentage of lymphocytes (lf), %. Thereafter, the outcome of COVID-19 is assessed by the formula for calculating y: if the value y is equal to 0–0.5, recovery is predicted, if the value y is more than 0.5, a lethal outcome is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of extending the tools for predicting the outcome of COVID-19, which enables to divide patients into two groups: with recovery and with a fatal outcome by determining three parameters of immunity before the beginning of therapy: RBTL, CD16+, lf, %.
