Disclosed is coffee bean roasting device (1), comprising: chamber (10) in which coffee beans for roasting can be placed, and apparatus (80) for roasting coffee beans placed in chamber (10), wherein chamber (10) is limited by at least lower part (11) and side wall (12), comprising outer side (121), which is oriented so that it faces away from chamber (10), and wherein temperature sensor (90) is provided on outer side (121) for determining the temperature in the inner part of chamber (10), in which chamber (10) has a height to which coffee beans can be placed in chamber (10), wherein temperature sensor (90) is located at a given height or below, and outer side (121) of side wall (12) comprises recess (123), and wherein temperature sensor (90) is at least partially located in recess (123).

EFFECT: higher reliability of temperature measurement inside the chamber.
