SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to coffee industry. Disclosed is apparatus (1) for roasting coffee beans, comprising: chamber (10) for accommodating coffee beans and a device for creating an air flow for stirring coffee beans, a heater for heating air, so that the heated air is blown by the device into chamber (10), a control unit for switching apparatus (1) between the roasting mode and the unloading mode, wherein control unit is functionally connected to device for creation of air flow and/or heater, wherein chamber (10) is limited by lower part (11), upper part (12) and side wall (13) passing from lower part (11) to upper part (12), wherein side wall (13) comprises outlet port (30), which is configured to selectively move between a closed position and an open position, wherein in roasting mode, outlet port (30) is in a closed position and the device is configured to create a heated air flow for roasting coffee beans placed in chamber (10), and wherein in unloading mode, outlet port (30) is in an open position and apparatus (1) is configured to use the air flow generated by the device to move coffee beans through outlet port (30) for unloading from chamber (10), wherein outlet port (30) is located closer to lower part (11) than to upper part (12), wherein lower part (11) comprises an air inlet, and wherein the device is configured to blow air through said inlet to create an air flow inside chamber (10), and wherein outlet port (30) is located at some distance from lower part (11) or in lower part above air inlet. Also disclosed is system (100) for roasting coffee beans, comprising roasting apparatus (1) and an additional apparatus functionally connected to apparatus (1) for processing coffee beans discharged from apparatus (1) through outlet port (30).
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to reduce consumption of electric power or energy for roasting and unloading of coffee beans with an efficient method of unloading coffee beans with an air flow even without inclination of the roasting chamber, optimizing overall dimensions of the apparatus, making it compact.
