FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing riboflavin, comprising the steps of growing the bacterium Bacillus subtilis – a riboflavin producer in a fermentation medium containing sucrose, dry yeast, corn extract, monosubstituted potassium phosphate, disubstituted potassium phosphate, under aerobic conditions and extracting riboflavin from the culture fluid, soya flour in amount of 5-20 g/l and ammonium sulphate in amount of 5-10 g/l are added to the fermentation medium, while maintaining the pH value of the fermentation medium at 7.0±0.2.
EFFECT: invention provides high output of the end product.
