FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the biotechnology. Described is a transformed cell of bacteria of genus Bacillus, which produces hyaluronic acid and contains in a chromosome a fusion of a heterologous gene hasA from S. equisimilis with a gene tuaD from B. subtilis under control of hybrid tandem promoter PrpsF-gsiB; wherein said cell is further characterized by that it does not necessarily contain a gene of gtaB in the chromosome under the control of a hybrid tandem promoter PrpsF-gsiB and/or an operon gcaDprs under the control of a hybrid tandem promoter PrpsF-gsiB. Also disclosed is a method of producing hyaluronic acid using said transformed cell.
EFFECT: invention allows more productive production of hyaluronic acid up to 3_21 g/l of hyaluronic acid.
