FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to devices providing for the aircraft engine starting and power supply of the aircraft on-board system. Starter-generator of gas turbine engine includes stator fixed on housing, rotor connected to output shaft of engine, cooling system. To the housing, accommodating stator with winding and tight cylindrical insert, front end shield and rear end shield are secured having a hermetically sealed connection with the housing, provided by a rubber seal. In the rotor there is a built-in multiplier, on the inner surface of which there are splines for connection to the drive shaft of the gas turbine engine. Stator and rotor are separate.
EFFECT: increasing specific power of the starter-generator due to increasing the rotor speed provided by direct mechanical contact through the splined connection with the drive shaft of the gas turbine engine.
