FIELD: performing operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of connection of support frame and shaping surface of tooling for production of polymer composite articles. According to said methods, spacer holders are placed between the support frame and the shaping surface, setting the distance between the support frame and the shaping surface; creating a layer of uncured elastomer between the support frame and the shaping surface, filling the distance between the support frame and the shaping surface given by the holders; curing said layer to form an elastic connector connecting the support frame and the shaping surface; and depending on the design of the spacer holders, either they are removed to obtain through passages between the support frame and the shaping surface, which are not filled with an elastic connector, or they are left between the support framework and the shaping surface. Invention also relates to tooling for making polymer composite articles, which can be obtained using said methods.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to compensate for difference in coefficients of linear thermal expansion of said frame and shaping surface with reliable support of shaping surface with support frame and to exclude/reduce possible negative effect on moulded article from tooling.
