FIELD: performing operations.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a support frame for making composite polymer articles and a method of forming a support frame for making composite polymer articles. Support frame is formed from ribs from composite material connected to each other with formation of joints. At least two interconnected ribs are connected by means of at least two metal connectors located at a distance from each other along the joint of ribs. Each metal connector has rigidly connected to each other fastening sections, each of which is intended for connection with one of the connected frame ribs, wherein connection of fastening section and rib is performed by means of glue joint. Invention also relates to a method of forming such a support frame.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher rigidity of support frame without negative effect on temperature-induced changes in frame dimensions.
