SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information systems and can be used in systems for protection of objects, cathodic protection of pipelines, fire alarm, determination of gas concentration and other fields of activity. Device for collecting digital information from spatially spaced electrical sensors comprises a phase-sensitive coherent reflectometer, an optical cable including at least one optical fibre, optical phase modulators according to the number of polled sources of digital information and said sources of information electrically connected to them, wherein the optical phase modulators are mounted in breaks of the optical cable.
EFFECT: providing collection of digital information from multiple electric sensors, including those with self-contained power supply, using one optical fibre with high speed.
