FIELD: vehicles in general.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry. Disclosed is a scanning platform for inspecting the bottom of vehicles, which is a monolithic structure consisting of flat metal housing (1) with backlight LEDs installed behind transparent windows (2) distributed over the surface of the housing, video camera (3) with wide-angle lens (4) installed in the central part of housing (1) of the platform, on top of which a protective dome made of optically homogeneous glass (5) is installed, baffle plate (6), which protects the dome from collision of vehicles, according to the invention, a two-layer screen is installed on the housing of the scanning platform, having reflecting layer (11) and heat-shielding layer (10, 12). Polished material with low heat conductivity is used as reflecting layer (11). Heat-shielding layer (10, 12) is made of foamed plastic with thermal conductivity lower than that of material from which reflecting layer (11) is made.

EFFECT: increased reliability of the platform due to the installed protective screen on the housing of the scanning platform, which is exposed to solar radiation.
