SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for the qualitative visual determination of cations Al3+, Zn2+ and Mg2+ in an unknown sample, involving the preparation of a solid alloy of 9-hexylcarbazole (9HQ) and 8-hydroxyquinoline (8HQ), with a weight ratio of 9HQ:8HQ of 10:1, doping of hard alloy with unknown sample, after which obtained hard alloy is subjected to mechanical action and with detected luminescent response, unknown sample contains Al3+, or Zn2+, or Mg2+.
EFFECT: present invention provides qualitative visual determination of cations Al3+, Zn2+ and Mg2+ in an unknown sample.
