FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of design, construction and operation of foundations and can be used to increase the bearing capacity of piles on soil as part of the pile foundation of buildings for various purposes in the cryolite zone, erected with preservation of the frozen state of the base for the entire period of construction and operation of the structure. Method of increasing bearing capacity of pile foundation of building with ventilated underground in cryolithozone characterized by the fact that on the surface of the concrete blind area of the soil in the ventilated underground of the building, a heat-insulating material with a thickness of at least 0.1 m is placed for the period of the year from May to September inclusively for at least four years.
EFFECT: providing an increase in the area of freezing of the pile and soil, which makes it possible to increase its bearing capacity on the soil.
