FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to reconstructive otorhinolaryngology and thoracic surgery. A skin auto-graft is formed on the feeding leg and sewn into the defect with the skin inside. The skin autologous graft is reinforced with a cartilage graft wrapped in two layers of knitted knitwear made of nickel-titanium wire 28-30 mcm thick, tightly adhering to the cartilage implant along its surface.
EFFECT: method increases the viability of the graft and the efficiency of the operation for plastic replacement of cartilage defects of the tracheo-laryngeal segment, reduces the invasiveness of the operation and the likelihood of postoperative complications, reduces the time of surgical intervention due to the high adhesion of the porous surface of the knitted fabric and the ability to give the graft a shape corresponding to the configuration of the replaced defect.
