FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ethylene copolymers and films obtained therefrom. Disclosed is a linear LLDPE copolymer of ethylene and butene, which has: (a) the density of the LLDPE copolymer ranges from 0.910 g/ml to 0.930 g/ml; and (b) the melt index (I2) of the LLDPE copolymer is from 0.5 g/10 min to 2.7 g/10 min; and (c) molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn) of the LLDPE copolymer is at least 4.25; and (d) the LLDPE copolymer Mz/Mw ratio is at least 3.2; and (e) the molecular weight distribution of the comonomers in the LLDPE copolymer ranges from −0.1 to −1.0; and (f) material dynamic modulus (G') is from 90 Pa to 115 Pa, when loss modulus (G'') is 1000 Pa. Invention also discloses a film made from said copolymer and a method of producing said film.

EFFECT: use of the disclosed copolymer to produce films improves processability and enables to obtain films with improved characteristics.
