FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, reconstructive plastic surgery and hand surgery, and can be used to restore hand function in contracture of fingers, with dysfunction of hand and forearm muscles, with preserved short flexor of 1 finger and partially preserved muscles of forearm. A corrective osteotomy of the first metacarpal bone is performed; the fragments are matched in the position of internal rotation to the position of opposition to the second interdigital space. Osteosynthesis, X-ray control, Limberg skin grafting and autodermoplasty for deepening of 1 interdigital space are performed.
EFFECT: method provides restoration of the function of opposing the first finger with less traumatisation of surrounding healthy tissues, possibility of early mobilization, with obtaining good functional and aesthetic results due to only osteotomy of 1 metacarpal bone with preservation of all muscular and tendon structures of hand.
