FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology. Method of monitoring the technical state of a gas piston unit in operation, which consists in measuring vibration values using vibration sensors installed at the control points of the gas piston unit, and performing spectral analysis of vibration velocity at control points, characterized by that measurements are performed in three mutually orthogonal planes, additionally performing amplitude measurements and spectral analysis of the external magnetic field of the synchronous generator, which is part of the gas piston unit, for this purpose, using a spectral analyser of the electromagnetic field, measuring the intensity of the components of the external magnetic field of the synchronous generator at control points on the outer circumference of the generator housing perpendicular to the tangent circle at this point, then constructing a circular diagram of amplitude of intensity in control points and performing spectral analysis of signals in points of minimum and maximum values, presence of a significant component of 1st harmonic component of harmonics of order of 2n-1 indicates the presence of turn-to-turn and interphase short-circuits of the generator stator winding, and an increase in the amplitudes of odd harmonics of order of 2n-1 indicates a defect “rotor rod breakage”.
EFFECT: high accuracy, quality of diagnostics and information security of the operation process, as well as high efficiency of detecting faults in the gas piston unit at an early stage of occurrence.
