SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used in cataract surgery in implantation of multifocal hydrophilic intraocular lenses IOL with planar haptic elements in presence of pseudoexfoliation syndrome PES and subluxation of crystalline lens of I degree. For this purpose, after phacoemulsification, a lower haptic element and an optical portion of the IOL are implanted into a capsular sac. A vertical paracentesis is performed at limb at 1-1.5 mm from the edge of the superior haptic element, and one iridocapsular retractor ICR is installed, moving the edge of the capsulorhexis to the limb and lifting it upwards. IOL is rotated in the capsular sac so that when the upper haptic element is introduced, it is bent about the established ICR. After complete implantation of the upper haptic element into the capsular sac, the IOL is returned to the vertical position and the operation is completed.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduced risk of intraoperative complications and increases convenience of manipulations.
