FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in flow measurement of liquids, liquefied gas and aromatic hydrocarbons in chemical, oil and gas processing, food, pharmaceutical and other industries. Electron-optical ball flowmeter of liquid consists of a housing with an annular channel in which a ball having zero buoyancy in liquid can freely rotate, a jet-guiding apparatus and an electrical signal pickup unit comprising a light-emitting diode and a phototransistor, arranged directly in the zone of the annular channel or in the secondary electronic converter and optically connected to the annular channel by means of fibre-optic light guides, wherein the electrical circuit of the electrical signal pickup unit additionally comprises a bipolar transistor connected according to a common emitter circuit, collector of which is connected through a separating capacitor to the - input of the integral analogue timer, the constant voltage on which is set by a resistive voltage divider at a level greater than one third, but less than two thirds of the supply voltage of the circuit.
EFFECT: ensuring independence of operation of the EOBFL from the transparency of the liquid and temperature of the flow meter, considerable increase in its load capacity without using a power amplifier of the output pulse signal.
