FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended to control power consumption of a PEC module in maximum power mode. Current values of voltage (2) and current (3) are measured at the output of the PEC module supplying controlled load (4), load (5) and capacitor (6) discharge circuit are disconnected, and the open circuit voltage value (7) is fixed taking into account the correction factor, then, parallel to the output contacts of PEC (1), capacitor (C) is connected (8) and at the first moment in time the value of short-circuit current (9) of PEC module (1) is fixed, and then the current values of voltage (2) and current (3) are monitored, in addition, the current value of current is multiplied (10) by the fixed value of open circuit voltage, and the current value of voltage is multiplied (11) by the fixed value of short-circuit current, obtained signals of said products are compared (12), and at the moment of their equality, current values of voltage (13) at the contacts of the PEC and current (14) given by the module are fixed, the values of which determine the mode of maximum energy output of the PEC module.
EFFECT: higher rate of determination of maximum power point parameters.
