FIELD: analytical instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical instrument making and concerns optical device for single-molecule DNA sequencing based on parallel detection of fluorescence in real time. Device comprises platform for installation of reaction cell containing planar substrate with multiple nanosized wells, source of exciting radiation, detector, optical system and control and recording unit. Nano-sized wells contain reagents and analysed samples and are located on a planar substrate of the reaction cell in parallel rows in the direction of mutually perpendicular axes X and Y. Optical system directs the exciting radiation from the exciting radiation source to the planar substrate, and also projects on the detector spectrally separated fluorescent emissions from the nanosized wells at an angle relative to the X axis of the parallel rows of the nanosized wells, and also provides an angle Θ=10-45° between the axis of the optical path of the exciting radiation and the surface of the planar substrate.
EFFECT: simpler device, higher efficiency and signal-to-noise ratio of fluorescent signals recorded by the detector.
