FIELD: switchboards.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a switching panel of a structured cable system for use in telecommunication and computer engineering, data processing centres. Disclosed switching panel comprises a housing having a height equal to 1 unit and a push-to-open mechanism, wherein the housing is configured to accommodate pre-terminated cassettes with optical LC adapters. Said cassettes have a height equal to the useful height of the switching panel housing equal to 1 unit, a width equal to 1/12 or 1/6 of the effective width of the switching panel housing, and a depth equal to 1/2 of the length of the internal cable assembly, and are fixed in the housing with using the push-to-open mechanism, wherein cassettes with width of 1/12 of the useful width of the switching panel housing contain on the hardware side from 4 to 12 optical adapters LC, in which the repair margin of the length of the optical fibres of the internal cable assembly of the "hydra" type is placed in the plane of the diagonal of the cross section of the cassette, and cassettes with width of 1/6 of the useful width of the switching panel housing contain on the hardware side from 4 to 24 optical adapters LC, in which the repair margin of the length of optical fibres of the internal cable assembly of the "hydra" type is placed horizontally. On the rear side of the cassette there are one, two or three optical adapters of the MPO/MTP type, respectively.

EFFECT: increased density of package at the same time with convenience of its use, expansion of variability of number of ports, simplicity of assembly.
