SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol-generating device for generating an aerosol by induction heating an aerosol-forming substrate, and to an aerosol-generating system comprising such a device, and an aerosol-generating article, wherein the article comprises a substrate which forms an aerosol to be heated. Technical result is achieved by the fact that an aerosol-generating device for generating an aerosol by induction heating of an aerosol-forming substrate, comprises a device casing comprising a cavity adapted to receive an aerosol-forming substrate to be heated; induction heating appliance comprising at least one induction coil for generating an alternating magnetic field inside the cavity, wherein the induction coil is located around at least a portion of the enclosing cavity; flow concentrator arranged around at least part of induction coil and configured to deform the alternating magnetic field of at least one induction heating device in the direction of the cavity during use of the device, wherein the flow concentrator comprises or is made of a flow concentrator foil, wherein the flow concentrator foil contains at least one of permalloy or nanocrystalline soft magnetic alloy, as well as technical result is achieved by aerosol generating system and containing such aerosol generating device, and an aerosol-generating article placed or configured to be placed at least partially in the cavity of the device, wherein the aerosol-generating article comprises an aerosol-forming substrate to be heated.
