FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, combustiology, traumatology and ambulance. Laser Doppler flowmetry is used to determine skin perfusion index P on the damaged and symmetrical intact skin areas. If the P of the damaged area is less than P of the symmetric intact skin area, or P of the damaged area is less than 4 p. units, closed traumatic skin detachment is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method enables diagnosing a closed traumatic skin detachment at the pre-hospital stage within the time frame in which it is possible to recover the skin accompanying the skin detachment; the procedure is also non-invasive, does not require skin damage, and provides high accuracy of the results.
