METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF DEVELOPING DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/265

Abstract RU 2683564 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for prediction of diabetic foot development. Condition of microvasculature of extremities is determined by laser Doppler flowmetry in the patients with diabetes mellitus. Examination is carried out at the point on the lower one-third of the forearm and at the point on the plantar surface of toe 1; the amplitude of the oscillations in the endothelial, neurogenic, myogenic ranges (Ae, An, Am) is determined, and the prognostic coefficient DS is calculated by formula DS=(1.7×Ae1/Ae2)-(2.5×An1/An2)+(0.24×Am1/Am2), where Ae 1 is an indicator of amplitude of oscillations in the endothelial range at the point on the forearm in perfusion units, Ae 2 – index of amplitude of oscillations in endothelial range in point on toe 1 in perfusion units, An 1 is an index of amplitude of oscillations in neurogenic range in point on forearm in perfusion units, An 2 – index of amplitude of oscillations in neurogenic range in point on toe 1 in perfusion units, Am 1 is an indicator of amplitude of oscillations in myogenic range at point on forearm in perfusion units, Am 2 – indicator of amplitude of oscillations in myogenic range in point on toe 1 of foot perfusion units. If the diabetic foot prognostic value DS is more than 0, the development of diabetic foot syndrome is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides simplifying prediction of diabetic foot development and enables predicting further development of the process.
