SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynaecology, and can be used for prediction of recurrence of pain syndrome after surgical treatment of ovarian endometrioma. Before the surgical treatment, the patient’s body weight index is calculated, the blood serum level of the C3 component of the complement system is determined, and the nature of the menstrual cycle is specified: the presence or absence of dysmenorrhea. Thereafter, a prognostic index of pain relapse (PIPR) is calculated by the presented formula and with the PIPR≥0.47 predicts a high risk of recurrent pain syndrome, if PIPR<0.47, a low risk of the declared recurrence is stated. If observing a high risk of recurrence, postoperative hormonal therapy is recommended.

EFFECT: invention allows timely recommendation of postoperative hormonal therapy.
