FIELD: medicine; gynecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the risk of recurrence of endometrioid ovarian cysts after surgical treatment. The following anamnestic indicators are determined: age, presence of chronic pelvic pain, presence of adenomyosis, height, weight, body mass index and laboratory indicator — CA-125 level. Then the prognostic index of endometriosis recurrence (IRE) is calculated using the author’s formula. And if IREN is ≥1.93 a high risk of recurrence of endometrioid ovarian cysts is predicted, if IREN is <1.93, the risk of recurrence is low.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the likelihood of relapse of ovarian endometriosis after surgical treatment by prescribing hormonal therapy, by determining the assessment of the totality of the most significant indicators.
