FIELD: valves.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to valves operating in cryogenic temperature zone. Pneumatically controlled shut-off valve consists of a body with a seat in the inlet cavity, closed by a spring-loaded valve, with an outlet cavity with a union and with a control cavity, as well as covers on the body with inlet and control unions. In the control cavity there is a plate on the rod for overlapping the seat made on the end surface of the body wall, inside which there is a guide axial centre hole in the outlet cavity, in which a rod is installed for interaction with the valve and sealed with a fluoroplastic ring, and in the inlet cavity there is a spring pressing the valve to the seat.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at creation of a shut-off valve for operation in the range of cryogenic temperatures, having minimum weight and overall characteristics, as well as high-speed operation at frequency of operations with provision of stable tightness during the whole service life.
