SUBSTANCE: invention includes shank suspension system and method of its actuation. System includes a lowering tool. It also includes a shank hanger assembly connected to the lowering tool for transportation to the desired location in the wellbore. Shank hanger assembly includes a packer, a shank hanger configured to be actuated between a radially retracted position and a radially extended preset position due to application of pressure difference between internal pressure area and intermediate pressure area. It also includes a ball seat arranged to receive a ball blocking the connection between the internal pressure area and the intermediate pressure area to ensure the application of differential pressure. Also includes module of protection against premature installation. Module includes a locking mechanism installed on the shank suspension assembly and a bushing installed in the running tool. Locking mechanism is held in place by means of a bushing to block operation of the shank hanger. Bushing is made with possibility of displacement to release the locking mechanism in response to occurrence of pressure difference. System also includes a sealing sleeve located along the intermediate pressure area above the packer and a running tool section designed to facilitate initial pressure balancing between the internal pressure region and the intermediate pressure region to prevent premature release of the packer and running tool.

EFFECT: reduction and elimination of risk of premature actuation of shank suspension system and premature release of tool for running-in.
