FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to a closure drive mechanism and a surgical stapler. Closure drive mechanism for a surgical stapling apparatus comprises a body comprising a coupling assembly, a movable handle, a closure drive assembly and an actuating element. Coupling unit comprises a first coupling member and a second coupling member on a proximal side of the first coupling member. First coupling element comprises first rotary part, third rotary part and second mating part, second coupling element comprises second rotary part and fourth rotary part. Third rotary part can be articulated with fourth rotary part. First rotary part can be articulated with housing. Second rotary part is configured to be positioned on the proximal side of the first rotary part. Communication node has a first state and a second state. Movable handle comprises first mating part connected with housing with possibility of displacement. Second rotary part of linkage assembly can be articulated with closing drive assembly. When coupling assembly is in first state, and movable handle is in position of rotation in first direction, first coupled part is configured to introduce the coupling unit into the second state by means of the second coupled part. Second rotary part of the connecting assembly is made with possibility of proximal movement and provision of the closing drive unit proximal movement. Actuator is movable between the first region and the second region. Second region is located on the distal side of the first region. When the coupling node is in the second state and the actuating element is moved from the first region to the second region, the first coupling element remains fixed relative the second coupling element. When the coupling node is in the second state and the actuating element is moved from the second region to the first region, the first coupling element is rotatable about the second coupling element. Surgical stapler comprises said closure drive mechanism.
EFFECT: use of the group of inventions allows to ensure a stable state of the binding unit so that when the binding unit is in a stable state, the binding unit does not move, while the movable handle continues to move to advance the staples.
