FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of parts from metal powder using additive technologies and processing by pulsed magnetic field. Part is obtained by selective laser fusion of metal powder under action of pulsed magnetic field. Cyclic exposure to pulsed magnetic field is carried out on metal powder melting zone using at least one inductor, located around the laser head and connected to the magnetic-pulse unit. Pulse duty ratio sufficient to generate a given level of residual stresses, providing laser fusion at operating voltage of 295–370 V, pulse duration of 4.8–7.5 ms, frequency of 7–8 Hz and pulse discharge frequency of 1 s, and magnetic-pulse loading at charge voltage 1.6–6 kV, stored energy 50–740 J and pulse current value 22–82.5 kA.

EFFECT: improved mechanical properties.
