SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrical devices and systems that generate aerosol. Heater assembly (10) for an aerosol generating system comprises: fluid-permeable heating element (12) for heating an aerosol-forming liquid substrate, comprising a plurality of slots (16) allowing fluid to penetrate through heating element (12); transfer material (14) comprising a plurality of channels (18) for transferring a liquid substrate which forms an aerosol to a plurality of slots (16) of the fluid-permeable heating element (12). Transfer material (14) comprises a ceramic which is deposited directly on the fluid-permeable surface of the fluid-permeable heating element (12). For more than 50 percent of slots (16) of fluid-permeable heating element (12), material (14) for transfer comprises corresponding channel (18) intended for transfer of liquid substrate, which forms aerosol, to its corresponding slot (16).

EFFECT: reducing the number of parts of the heater and, as a result, simplifying its assembly, as well as reducing the risk of obtaining undesirable by-products caused by a dry heating situation.
