FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment that allows performing strength tests of materials. Disclosed is a sample for testing the structural strength of a material in the form of a circular plate having a surface of support on the plane along the outer perimeter, a loading surface in the centre, as well as stress concentrators, wherein on one of said surfaces there are two stress concentrators in form of diametrically arranged at an angle to each other U- or V-shaped grooves, wherein angle α between the latter is determined taking into account the main stresses in the destruction focus, and the grooves depth is determined taking into account the angle α between them.
EFFECT: invention enables to change the coefficient of the type of stress-strain state P and the coefficient of stress concentration K with minimum dependency on each other, and also enables calculation of geometrical parameters of the sample with given values of P and K.
