FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power engineering and electrical engineering, particularly to methods of protecting a person from electric shock. Device can be used in power supply systems of street lighting lines with different types of lamps. In the device, the housing is made in the form of a parallelepiped made of non-conductive plastic, in the upper and lower walls there are symmetrical openings into which phase conductors of lighting lines with a neutral wire are installed, conductors for transmitting control signals, control and measuring inputs of the automatic circuit breakers control unit are connected to control and measuring conductors, which are made in the side wall of the housing. Data outputs of the unit for transmitting data to the section dispatcher are connected by a data transfer channel, which are fitted in the openings of the housing, to the input of the device for receiving information signals at the automated workstation of the section dispatcher. Data inputs of the data processing and decision making unit are connected to the output of the current measuring unit, and the data outputs are connected to the input of the unit for transmitting data to the section dispatcher through data transmission channels.
EFFECT: improving electric safety level of street lighting network in case of its damages.
