FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of amorphous hydroxyapatite, which can be used in pharmacology, dentistry and surgery, as well as in cosmetology. Disclosed method involves reaction of calcium hydroxide and phosphoric acid by adding phosphoric acid to an aqueous suspension of calcium hydroxide, to a preliminarily obtained aqueous suspension of calcium hydroxide in the following ratio, wt., Ca(OH)2:H2O = 1:10-20 adding 15-20% phosphoric acid in amount corresponding to ratio, mol., Ca(OH)2:H3PO4 = 5:3, with constant mixing at rate of 2.0-5.5 ml/min and initial temperature 4 °C, wherein in case of temperature increase above 8 °C acid supply is stopped before temperature drops to initial value 4 °C, after which supply is resumed, then filtered and obtained precipitate is dried at 100-150 °C for 2-4 hours.
EFFECT: due to proposed conditions of concentration of initial reagents and mode of supply, technologically simple method provides high output of finished product with high degree of purity.
