FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering and may be used in production of transformers, electric motors as winding wires, in particular, for production of current transformer windings. Winding wire comprises a core twisted from strands, which are twisted from wires, and multilayer insulation. Insulation includes three layers, besides, each layer is made with overlapping of insulating layer tape turns along width. First layer is made of polymer film and laid in the direction of the core lay, the second one is made of cable paper and laid in the direction of the core lay, and the third one is made of polymer film and laid in the direction opposite to the core lay.
EFFECT: improving flexibility and elasticity of a winding wire resistant to mechanical damages.
