SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pathological anatomy, oncology, surgery, and can be used for the prediction of recurrent retroperitoneal high-differentiated liposarcoma HDLS and dedifferentiated liposarcoma DDLS in a patient following tumour removal. That is ensured by electron-microscopic examination of the removed tumour and its microenvironment to detect telocytes. Average number of microvesicles secreted by telocytes in 1 mcm² of extracellular matrix is determined. If observing the average microvesicle count exceeding 5.1 per 1 mcm² of the extracellular matrix, a high risk of recurrent retroperitoneal liposarcoma is stated. If the average number of microvesicles is less than or equal to 2.8 in 1 mcm² of the extracellular matrix, a low risk of recurrent retroperitoneal liposarcoma is stated.

EFFECT: invention enables to predict recurrent retroperitoneal highly differentiated liposarcoma and dedifferentiated liposarcoma in patients during the first two years of follow-up after surgical removal of the tumour, that provides detection of recurrences of liposarcoma at earlier stage and performance of less injuring and volume operative intervention.
